Taiwan Japan March 2014

The past two weeks I was traveling with my wife in Taiwan and Japan. It was awesome to get to visit our home towns and families. Super fun trip and the street food in Taiwan was soooo good. Here is a little hyper lapse I did at Kamakura in Japan.

Major Blog Update

Hi there! An update was long overdue. I was working on a new layout for my blog for a while now since I thought that people have trouble finding my portfolio and tutorials through my website. So here it is all in one place. I still need to upload more work but I guess it's ready to show.

What's new?
On the tabs above you can navigate through different sections of my blog. The projects tab includes my personal and professional work all in one place yay. Images load at once so it's quicker and easier to look at. The tutorials section is also now much easier to access. My goal was to get to your desired page with as few clicks as possible. Hope you guys like it! (I'm open for suggestions)

Did another little animation in After Effects. Photoshop for the car texture, the rest is build and rendered in After Effects. These are fun to do! I love that with this technique you have 100% control over the lighting cause I'm not really using lights to light the scene. I'm just adjusting the colors for each element separately so I get the color I want.

Not very practical but it was a fun little exercise.
