I recently stumbled upon this amazing photographer who does animated gif images. I've seen similar approaches before but this totally blew my mind. So beautiful! Make sure to check out this
link. I gave it a try myself today. This is my friend at a cafe. I'm certainly gonna do more of those.
update:
I did two more of those today. Gotta find a way to keep the file sizes a bit smaller. The jumping pic was impossible to keep small cause the whole background was moving. So it ended up being over 1MB. It's super fun creating those pics. It requires a lot of thinking.
Wow... you can do it too, that's awesome!
ReplyDeleteAmazing! This reminds me of the Harry Potter´s moving photographs!
ReplyDeleteI just wish GIFs had better quality. Totally trying this soon!
Really amazing work, thank you for sharing.

This is great.
ReplyDeleteThx!
Thanks for sharing that link, clever stuff! Do you take a high quality video and then mask out the parts you don't want to be animated?
ReplyDeleteNice one , thanks for the heads up too
ReplyDeleteYours is better. More subtle.
ReplyDeleteive done some things like this myself before. been trying to combine this with coniguous timelapse images taken on a second camera to create a 'slowmo' traile effect. sadly my main camera has just dies so thats on hold for now.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!

yeah we should head to the beach and create some of those!
