I absolutely LOVE the feel motion gives to your piece.Pure genius! ^_^
Oh my gosh! So cool!! The nice subtle animation really gives it a nice mood. Would love to see older version too :)
Thanks guys!!Here's the older one. I wanted to change the mood a bit.http://www.area-56.de/pics/speedpaints/sp_0365_oceanbot.jpg
ohhhh you clever monkey goro! :D something feels to clean about the animation... maybe if there was just a hint of anti-aliasing to just soften the edges. it feel like a 60hz LCD HDTV right now, dope idea though :) so clever and use of inspiration!
you should get the spray of the waves to float a little too! Nice.
Very cool, love where you're going with these animations!
it's impressive! i love the mood =)wonder how you animated it?did you use photoshop?
It almost looks like you used maya nCloth to make the dress, can you explain your process of animating it?
Thanks everyone!Martin:It was actually intended to be as clean as possible. I wanted it to stick out of the painting a bit otherwise it would look like a standard hand animated gif animation. Wanted to do something new.Matt:Bingo! It is indeed maya ncloth both for the dress and the hair, rendered and composed in after effects, exported back into photoshop to create the gif. Good observation :D
Really loving your illustration, lighting is nice and soft.....
ha, awesome. I just made this the live-wallpaper of my android phone :)
